1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NALU Research website, your account, and any purchase from NALU Research (“NALU Research,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the website, requesting an account, placing an order, or using any content or services offered through the website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Research Use Disclaimer, Acceptable Use Policy, and any other policy incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access the restricted portions of the website, request an account, or purchase products from NALU Research.

2. Age, account approval, and access

You must be at least twenty-one (21) years old to request an account, access restricted content, or purchase products from NALU Research.

Website and catalog access is restricted to manually approved account holders. Submission of an account request does not guarantee approval. NALU Research may approve, deny, limit, suspend, or terminate an account or order at any time, in its sole discretion, including where information is incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent with these Terms, or raises a concern regarding intended use or legal compliance.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity occurring through your account. You must promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.

3. Research use only

All products offered by NALU Research are supplied strictly for legitimate research use only (“RUO”). Products are not intended for human consumption, animal or veterinary use, food use, cosmetic use, household use, recreational use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any other purpose outside lawful research use.

Products are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, medical devices, or cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Statements made on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

NALU Research does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment advice, dosing information, reconstitution instructions, administration guidance, or recommendations regarding use in humans or animals. Any communication suggesting an intended use inconsistent with these Terms may result in denial of sale, cancellation of an order, or termination of account access.

4. Purchaser representations and responsibilities

By requesting access or purchasing a product, you represent, warrant, and agree that:

• You are at least twenty-one (21) years old.
• You will use products solely for lawful, legitimate research purposes and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, local, and other laws, rules, regulations, and safety requirements.
• You are qualified to evaluate, handle, store, and use research materials, or are acting under the supervision of a qualified person or organization.
• You understand and accept responsibility for identifying hazards, applying appropriate safety controls, and determining the suitability of a product for your intended lawful research purpose.
• You will not use, sell, transfer, distribute, market, relabel, or provide products for human consumption, animal use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, or any prohibited or unlawful purpose.
• You will not make false, misleading, or unsupported claims about NALU Research products.
• Information you provide to NALU Research is accurate, complete, and current.

You are solely responsible for determining whether purchase, possession, importation, handling, storage, transfer, and use of a product are lawful in your jurisdiction and appropriate for your intended research use.

5. Product information and testing

NALU Research strives to present product, pricing, and availability information accurately. However, product descriptions, images, labels, specifications, prices, availability, and other website content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and may be changed or corrected without notice.

Product images are for general reference and may not precisely reflect the final packaging, lot, label placement, or appearance of the product received. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by NALU Research, product information is not a guarantee of suitability for any particular purpose.

Products may undergo independent testing for applicable quality attributes. Any testing information, documentation, or result made available by NALU Research is provided for research reference only and does not authorize any prohibited use or create a medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or safety claim.

6. Independent Testing Assurance

NALU Research stands behind its stated product specifications. If a product is independently tested and is alleged not to meet its stated specification, NALU Research may review the matter under this Independent Testing Assurance.

To be eligible for review, all testing must be approved in writing by NALU Research before testing is arranged or performed. Approval may require agreement on the laboratory, analytical method, sample quantity, chain-of-custody process, storage conditions, testing scope, and a maximum reimbursement amount.

The product must be in its original condition to the extent reasonably possible, with the lot information, purchase record, storage history, and chain-of-custody documentation available for review. NALU Research may require additional documentation, inspection, retention of a sample, or confirmatory retesting by an agreed independent laboratory.

If NALU Research confirms that an approved, properly handled sample failed to meet its stated specification, NALU Research may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund, and reimbursement of reasonable, pre-approved laboratory testing costs up to the written maximum established before testing. No reimbursement is available for unapproved testing, non-agreed methods, compromised samples, undocumented handling or storage, or results that cannot reasonably be attributed to the original NALU Research product.

This Assurance is the exclusive remedy for a testing-related claim and does not create any broader warranty or obligation. It does not apply to claims involving prohibited use, human or veterinary use, misuse, improper handling, improper storage, alteration, contamination after delivery, or use outside the product’s stated research purpose.

7. Orders, pricing, and payment

All orders are subject to acceptance by NALU Research. An order confirmation or payment authorization does not constitute acceptance of an order. We may refuse, cancel, limit, or modify any order before shipment for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, account verification concerns, payment issues, legal restrictions, or concerns about intended use.

Prices and product availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing, listing, inventory, or typographical errors, including after an order has been submitted. If a correction affects your order, we may contact you, cancel the affected portion, or issue a refund where appropriate.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate payment and billing information. You authorize NALU Research and its payment providers to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the amount due, including applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other disclosed charges.

8. U.S. shipping and delivery

NALU Research currently ships only within the United States. We do not offer international shipping. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Shipping and delivery estimates are not guarantees. Processing times, carrier delays, weather, service interruptions, and other events outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. NALU Research is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, inaccurate addresses, package refusal, or events beyond our reasonable control.

You must inspect your shipment promptly upon delivery and contact us without undue delay if an item is missing, damaged, or incorrect. See our Shipping Information and Returns & Refunds Requests for additional information.

9. Returns and refunds

Due to the nature of research products and the importance of product integrity, sales are generally final once an order has shipped. Products may not be returned without prior written authorization from NALU Research.

If you believe an order was damaged in transit, is incomplete, or contains an incorrect item, contact NALU Research promptly and include your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs when applicable. We will review qualifying requests in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Requests

10. Website use and intellectual property

The website and its content—including text, graphics, product images, logos, designs, code, layout, trademarks, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to NALU Research and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, NALU Research grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for its intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, transmit, exploit, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission from NALU Research.

You may not interfere with website security or operation, use automated collection tools without permission, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, or use the website in a manner that violates law or these Terms.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, carriers, or services. These links are provided for convenience only. NALU Research does not control, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party content, availability, security, policies, products, or services.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, ITS CONTENT, AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. NALU RESEARCH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AVAILABILITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

NALU RESEARCH DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR USING APPROPRIATE SAFEGUARDS AND FOR VERIFYING INFORMATION MATERIAL TO YOUR LAWFUL RESEARCH PURPOSE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NALU RESEARCH AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE, PRODUCTS, ORDERS, OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF NALU RESEARCH ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO NALU RESEARCH FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NALU Research and its owners, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your access to or use of the website, purchase, possession, handling, storage, transfer, or use of products, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person’s rights.

16. Suspension and termination

NALU Research may suspend or terminate your access to the website, account, or purchasing privileges at any time where we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, attempted to misuse products, created legal or safety concerns, or otherwise acted inconsistently with the intended research-only purpose of the website and products.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to the website, products, orders, or these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, you agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

18. Changes to these terms

NALU Research may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective when posted to this page unless a different effective date is stated. Your continued use of the website, account, or products after an update means that you accept the revised Terms.

19. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

These Terms, together with the policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and NALU Research regarding website access and purchases, and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings relating to that subject matter.
